Why donate or become a sponsor?

As you might have read, I am still a student. My fulltime "job" consists of going to classes, doing projects for school, and studying for exams. Although I am very happy I can do these things, I do not get paid for them.

In my spare time I work out computerscience related projects for myself, for companies, or for the community. A lot of time and effort went into them because development is very costly in terms of time (and energy drinks ;). Also the distribution of this software/informations costs money. If you are reading this page, it means this site is still up, meaning I have had to pay for the server/domain/bandwidth/...

I have many many new ideas for future projects, but in some cases money is a limiting factor. Some project require expensive hardware, hardware I would buy myself if I had the money, but simply can't afford.

So if you really like one of my programs or ideas, then consider donating any amount you can spare knowing your contribution can lead to even better results. Check out my personal wishlist if you want to decide how your donation will be used. Hardware donations are also very welcome.
