XP Serial Retriever This handy little tool does everything the title says: retrieve the serial key used to register the windows version on the pc the tool is running. You just run it, and it shows your serial. This tool it NOT illegal, as it does not generate or steal keys. It just shows your own key you entered during windows installation. It's made for Windows XP (Home and Pro) but has been reported to work with versions of Vista.

RapidRuby RapidRuby is an automated "premium" downloader script for the popular rapidshare hosting site. It allows you to paste multiple urls in the script, and based on your setup it puts them in a queue and starts downloading the files. It has support for simultaneous downloads, automated login, scrolling, ... It uses a ncurses GUI for easy management, this also allows the script to be run on a remote machine via ssh or in a screen. It runs on every platform that has Ruby 1.8 or later (1.9 recommended). Full source included under GNU General Public License. Obviously this requires you to have a rapidshare premium account.
